This gem has a high dome, fine polish and 4/5 brightness. The colour is a marvellous gold/orange pinfire pattern and slightly directional. Luckily the colour still faces well, when presented forward. It has good depth and this crystal opal is from the old field in Lambina, South Australia. It weighs 9.5 carats and measures 20 x 13 x 5mm. This would be a beautiful pendant.
